Zenith VIII
Zenith: a theoretical point vertically above the observer on an imaginary celestial sphere.
Tom Leighton’s new photographic series “Zenith” explores a process of disorientation, where a distortion of symmetry combines with the absence of definitive vantage point. In this work, it becomes unclear as to whether the viewer is looking up at an expanding, highly decorative architectural landscape or, maybe, floating above it. The references could be to astrology or science fiction - and the experience of viewing the work evokes a sensation of gravitational pull and shifting balance, drawing you into an impressive and alien architecture.
All works include worldwide shipping - local taxes and import duties may apply to sales outside of the UK.
